Vic the Rebel

Vic’s aim is to encourage the team’s passionate supporters to be as loud and proud as they have ever been!

Vic's story goes back a long time, so we best start from the beginning. He arrived in Melbourne in 1850, with little more than a Rugby ball under his arm, and the dream of a better life in his heart - a dream to make a difference and have some fun along the way.

To read the full story of how Vic came to be the Rebels' mascot, click here to see a comic book created to celebrate him and his contribution to Rugby in Victoria.

Next time you're at AAMI Park and you see Vic, make sure you say hello. He's a friendly guy, who loves to have a photo and a high five with all Rebels fans. We'll even let you in on a little secret; a 'big kid' at heart, he's particularly keen to chat with all of our junior members and Little Rebels!

If you’d like Vic to visit your school, birthday party or workplace, send us an email to info@melbournerebels.com.au and we’ll see what we can arrange!
