After the Rebels’ Super W expression of interest day gained 100 signatures, the group has been whittled down to 39 players who will train in the hope of making the final squad, which will be announced in January.Amongst the list of names are Wallaroos squad players Georgia Cormick and Alice Tonumaivao, as well as two pioneering Tasmanian players in Meesa Albert and Wynonah Conway, who have both moved to Melbourne to pursue their rugby dreams.The squad will continue to train four times a week under Head Coach Alana Thomas and Assistant Coaches Aaron Callister and Nick Piva-Giblett, with the players being put to test through a range of skills, running and gym sessions.Fans have the opportunity to watch the Super W squad train at the Rebels Community Day this Saturday the 8th of December at Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club from 8:30am.Melbourne Rebels Super W train-on squad 2019 preseason.
