Click Energy was established in 2006 and is Australia’s fastest growing energy retailer, committed to delivering simple, great value energy to Australians.

Melbourne Rebels members will be major beneficiaries from the new partnership, with Click Energy offering a range of benefits for those Club members and Rugby supporters in Melbourne that “switch to Click”.

Members can look forward to accessing a range of exclusive energy plans, unique promotions and new ways to link energy savings with their love of the sport.

For example under an innovative “You Play, We Pay” incentive program, all registered Rugby players in Victoria that transfer their energy or gas to Click Energy will receive a $200 credit against their bill as a reimbursement for their Rugby Club registration.

Click Energy General Manager of Sales & Marketing, Chris Zondanos, was thrilled to announce the partnership today: “Click Energy pride ourselves on doing things differently and we’ve been really impressed by the genuine innovation and investment that the Melbourne Rebels have put forward in creating this partnership.’

“Australian’s electricity bills are likely to be one of the most significant monthly outgoings they’ll have, so it’s important to find an electricity retailer you can trust – and at the right price.

Click Energy provides that kind of trusted service to Melburnians and our support of the Rebels and their members is a great way for us to connect with a vibrant local Rugby community.”

Melbourne Rebels CEO Baden Stephenson said he was delighted Click Energy will be supporting the Club and offering the Victorian Rugby community with exclusive savings.

“Click Energy is a real industry disruptor that has a strong commitment to simplifying energy and gas for their customers. Their customer-first, limited-overhead model ensures that their customers receive reliable utilities at highly competitive prices. There’s a lot we can learn as a business from that focus.’

“We are really looking forward to working with Click Energy to deliver great energy and gas savings and offers to the Melbourne Rugby community which are geared around making playing Rugby more accessible and affordable.”

Click Energy has also partnered with the Melbourne Rebels to be the presenting partner of RugbyFit – a free, six-week, electronic training program.
