The Melbourne Rebels Women team that will take on Queensland Women's side in their Round 3 clash at Ballymore Stadium on Sunday has been announced.
Rebels Women Head Coach Alana Thomas has brought in positional changes to the match-day 23 that took on the Western Force in Round 1.
Some notable changes include experienced Rebels Women Captain Jayne Kareroa moving into the playmaker role and hard-running Ashley Marsters moving from hooker to the back of the scrum.
"We're looking to bounce back after a tough first round game" Rebels Women Head Coach Alana Thomas said.
"The Bye round last weekend has given the squad a chance to regroup and focus on the areas of the game that let us down in round one".
"We have now experienced the standard you have to play at Super W level and we look forward to taking these learnings into this game against a tough and physical Queensland outfit"
Our Rebel Women will be facing a Queensland side that accommodated for the Brumbies Women last week after a first round defeat to the NSW Women.
The match will be broadcasted live by rugby.com.au and broadcasted by Fox Sports.
