The Melbourne Rebels have today confirmed Citizen Watches will continue its partnership with the Club for at least the next two years.

This exciting renewal sees Citizen Watches remain the Official Timing Partner of the Rebels, as the countdown to the new Super Rugby season ticks down to just ninety-five days.

“We are excited to further develop and leverage synergies with Melbourne Rebels,” announced Jae Lee, Head of Marketing for Citizen Watches.

“We are confident that our continuous association will significantly contribute to our ambitions and will provide Melbourne Rebels team and supporters with the partnership collaboration they rightly expect.”

The next phase of the Rebels-Citizen partnership will have an even greater emphasis on integration into the gameday experience, with all fans at the Stockade (AAMI Park) to benefit from new concepts to complement the established ‘Citizen Countdown to Kick-Off Clock’ in 2020.

“We take pride in the opportunity that we have to take Melbourne to the world on a weekly basis and we are thrilled to have a global partner like Citizen Watches on board for what promises to be an exciting next chapter for our Club,” explained Melbourne Rebels CEO Baden Stephenson.

“There is a strong alignment of values between Citizen Watches and the Melbourne Rebels; two organisations that understand the importance of precision and attention to detail.

“We have some very exciting plans for various fan competitions that we are looking forward to co-creating with Citizen Watches over the next few months in preparation for our first home game on 14 February 2020.”
