The Melbourne Rebels are thrilled to announce world leading fermented milk manufacturer, Yakult, has renewed its partnership with the club for another 2 years, with the Melbourne based company committing to extend its support through seasons 2021 and 2022.

The new renewal ensures the club’s second longest official partner will now have been an integral member of the Rebels corporate family for over ten years, after beginning its partnership with the club in the 2012.

The Rebels’ choice of probiotic will continue to feature prominently during match day at AAMI Park, with Yakult holding branding rights on the four goal posts, in addition to strong visibility across the club’s digital channels.

Melbourne Rebels CEO, Baden Stephenson, thanked Yakult for their continued corporate loyalty and support: “The Melbourne Rebels are honoured to have Yakult commit to our club for another two seasons.  It is a great show in faith in the Melbourne Rebels and the ongoing progress we are making to have such a well-respected global brand as Yakult continue to back us.   With a shared focus on health and high performance we look forward to partnering with Yakult for many years to come.”

Yakult Managing Director, Mr. Kenji Ono, echoed these sentiments “Yakult is pleased to extend our partnership with the Melbourne Rebels for a further two years. The Rebel’s commitment to grass roots Rugby in Melbourne aligns perfectly with our Corporate philosophy of contributing to the health and happiness of people around the world.”

Yakult’s re-commitment caps an exciting time for the Rebels, as the club begins preparations for season 2021 and its long-awaited return to AAMI Park, with the Rebels scheduled to play their first home game of the season against the Brumbies in Round 3 on Saturday, March 6 at 7:45 PM.
