The 2023 Buildcorp Super W draw has been officially unveiled today with the Rebels Super W kicking off their new campaign against the Reds on Saturday, March 25.
The Rebels Super W will play five doubleheaders across the new season, including three matches at home, providing Rebels supporters with a great opportunity to get behind Melbourne’s team and celebrate what it means to be part of One Club.
After opening the new season at home against the Reds (5:05 pm), the Rebels Super W will make Club history when it plays its first ever match overseas, when they clash with the Fijiana Drua at HFC Bank Stadium, Suva (2:05 pm AEDT).
Seven days later, Melbourne welcomes the Western Force to AAMI Park, when the Rebels Super W host the second of their three home doubleheaders (5:05 pm).

Jason Rogers and his team then travel to the Nation’s Capital to lock horns with the Brumbies in Round 4, before wrapping up its regular season with a Friday afternoon clash against Club rivals, the NSW Waratahs, at AAMI Park on April 21 (5:05 pm).
The top four teams will then progress to the finals, with an elimination Semi-Final on April 30 determining the Grand Final match up on May 6.
It’s been a prosperous off-season for women’s rugby in Victoria, following the recent Rebels Super W coaching appointments, Ashley Marsters being selected in her second Women’s World Cup campaign, and the recent success of the Victorian Women’s State Team and the Melbourne University Rugby 7s.
Melbourne Rebels Super W Head Coach, Jason Rogers, said he’s determined to build on this momentum, and make the Victorian rugby community proud.
“It’s fantastic to have our draw finalised for what will be an exciting campaign for our Club, our members and sponsors and Victorian rugby,” said Rogers.
“Our identity is the Victorian rugby community. We’re so grateful to be representing our Lindroth Clubs, the players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who make our sport just so special here in Victoria.
“To have the opportunity to play three matches in front of our supporters is really special, and something we don’t take for granted. The games will represent an opportunity to celebrate our sport, our community, and the evolution of women’s rugby across our State.
“What we’re hoping for is that our Club’s bring along their girls, bring their youth players and youngsters looking to enter our sport, and get behind our Super W team that represents you.
“The connection with our Club and our community is something we’re really passionate about, so we want to continue to build on this, and make our people proud. One Club, One Community.”
