A giant lock with strong Tongan rugby heritage, Adam Coleman is the first post-World War II Tasmanian-born Wallaby.
His mother Jennifer took sole care of him after his father, former Tonga captain Pau’u Afeaki, died when he was 12. At 18, Coleman moved to Canberra to join the Brumbies Academy, before relocating to Sydney in late 2011.
He played one Super Rugby match for the Waratahs, after impressing for Parramatta in the Shute Shield.
Coleman caught national attention, though, after moving to the Western Force, ultimately making his Test debut against England in 2016.
