Boyd Killingworth joins the Melbourne Rebels for the 2020 Super Rugby season having been a star for the Australian Men's Sevens side.

Killingworth made 20 appearances in the gold jersey, two of which at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in 2018 and the RWC7s in San Francisco.

Killingworth represented the Sydney Rays for two years between 2014 and 2015 in the NRC, but 2020 will mark his first ever year as a Super Rugby player.



The then 18 year-old debuted in the Sevens World Series in Cape town, 2010, having previously been an Australian Schoolboy squad member in the same year.


Killingworth represented the Sydney Rays in the NRC, appearing two times in his debut season.


Killingworth played in all eight NRC games for the Sydney Rays, scoring four tries in his most consistent season in the 15-aside format.


Killingworth featured in Australia's pool matches at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, while also being a squad member for the Australian Rugby World Cup Sevens squad, held in San Francisco. 


The forward was a key part of Warringah's charge to the Shute Shield Grand Final, appearing 11 times throughout the season. Killingworth was a part of Warringah's five-point loss to Sydney University in the Shute Shield Grand Final.
