Harry Potter is a young and talent winger, who joins the Melbourne Rebels having been a prolific outside back for Sydney University.
A former Brighton Grammar School student and Moorabbin Rams Junior, Potter has spent the past two season playing in the Shute Shield competition, where the young back made a name for himself in the side's back to back premierships.
Potter's clean hands, pace and excellent running patterns make him a dangerous player out wide, and the 22 year-old will be hoping to crack into a Rebels backline which boasts some impressive depth.
Having played juniors in Melbourne, Potter moved up to Sydney to study, which also followed a move to play for Shute Shield side Sydney University.
Potter's debut season in Australia's premier Club competition resulted in 13 appearances for 'The Students'.
Following his debut season in the Shute Shield, 2018 proved to be a breakout year as the young back recorded 20 games for Sydney Uni, and played a major role in the side's Shute Shield Premiership over the Warringah Rats.
Following his impressive Club performances, Potter earned two appearances in the NRC for the NSW Country Eagles.
In the 2019 Shute Shield, Potter lead the competition for total defenders beaten (117), clean line breaks (45) and total metres (1446), which was more than any other player for the year.
Potter also claimed back to back Shute Shield titles with a second consecutive Grand Final victory over Warringah, playing a vital role on the wing for Sydney University.
Potter then announced he was joining the Melbourne Rebels for the 2020 Super Rugby season. After this announcement, Potter played one NRC game for the Melbourne Rising, which was highlighted by a magical try.
