James Tuttle is a talented young scrum half who looms as a pivotal playmaking cog for the Club in 2020.
Hailing from Brisbane, Queensland, Tuttle comes to the Rebels having been a talented junior halfback, who represented the Junior Wallabies for two years between 2015-16, while also being a Queensland Reds half back from 2016-18.
Tuttle made his Super Rugby debut as a 19-year-old for the Queensland Reds, coming on the pitch as a replacement scrum half against the Bulls and would go on to manage five more appearances for the Reds in his first season.
The year proved to be Tuttle's breakthrough season, with the halfback playing 13 games and earning nine starts.
After managing six games in the first nine rounds, Tuttle suffered a season ending achilles injury, robbing him of building on his promising start to his Super Rugby career.
After managing 24 games across three seasons with the Reds, 2019 proved to be another horrible year for Tuttle, who suffered a re-ruptured Achilles in March, ruling him out for the season.
Tuttle is hopeful his diligent rehabilitation will ensure he's available for selection in the Rebels' opening round clash against the Sunwolves.
