Shaun Berne is the Melbourne Rebels Attack Coach, with the 2020 Super Rugby season being Berne's third year at the Club.
Berne is a former fly half/ centre, who hung up the boots in 2016 after more than 200 games of senior rugby in Australia and UK.
Berne first started coaching in 2015 for Leicester's Elite Player Program, before moving back to Australia to become the Attack Coach for the Western Force in 2017.
2019 proved to be Berne's most prolific year, with the Assistant Coach helping the Rebels to the Club's highest ever points-for tally. Berne's tactical nouse and proven results caught the attention of former Wallabies Coach Michael Cheika, who installed Bern as Australia's Assistant Coach at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
