Nick Jooste
Player Bio:
The West Australian carries an impressive junior background, having represented both the Australian Schoolboys (2015) and Junior Wallabies programs (2016 – 2017).
During this period, Jooste became just the sixth Australian player to sign a Super Rugby contract while still in high school.
After gaining valuable experience in Japan, Jooste returned to Australian shores in 2020, before re-uniting with former Australian under-20’s teammates James Tuttle and Rob Leota twelve-months later at the Rebels.
Following a pair of strong performances in trials against the Waratahs and Fijian Drua, Jooste made his Rebels’ debut in the Club’s round 3 clash against the Drua in Queensland in the 2022 season.
The versatile back would go on to make six more appearances, highlighted by an eye-catching round 15 performance against the Highlanders, where Jooste scored a memorable try while running for forty-two metres from seven runs, beating a team-high four defenders.
