Player Bio:

After arriving at the Rebels from the Western Force at the end of the 2017, Namibian-born Hardwick has made over 50 appearances for the Melbourne based club.

Hardwick produced a stellar 2020 Super Rugby AU campaign, playing nine games and placing inside the club’s top ten performers for metres run (142), clean breaks (3), turnovers won (9) and completed tackles (65).

A Dual-International, Hardwick made his Wallabies Test debut in June 2019 in Melbourne against Fiji, and boasts two Wallabies caps, and has gone on to also represent Namibia with a debut late in 2022.

My wife Mikaela, she is an incredible person and makes me want to be a better person. She inspires me to be the best athlete and helps me achieve my goals

Which senior player did you look up to as a rookie:

David Pocock, Richie McCaw and Heinrich Brüssow inspired me growing up but Chris Alcock had the biggest impact in my rugby and my mentor still to this day.

What is on top of your Bucket List:

Rugby bucket list would be playing in the World Cup with my family watching.
