History will be made this weekend, when the Melbourne Rebels take on the Brumbies and the Sharks in Ballarat on Saturday.

The occasion marks the first time Super Rugby has been played in a regional setting and promises to be an emotional day for the club, with the Rebels returning to their spiritual home that has inspired the clubs’ name, logo and creed. 

The Rebels W open the big day, kicking off against the Brumbies at 12:15 pm.

The men’s side will be looking to make it back to back wins, facing the Sharks at 2:45pm.

It promises to be a jam-packed day of world class rugby, so to make sure you have an unforgettable experience, here’s all the match day details you need to know!  

Redeem Your Tickets (Members): Membership cards will not work this Saturday, so in order to secure your game-day tickets, you will need to enter your barcode online here.

Alternatively, head to ticketek.com.au, search Melbourne Rebels and find the 8 Rebels home games.

Select Rebels v Sharks, then in the password box, enter your membership card barcode (12 digits).

For members with more than one membership, please enter all barcodes under each other.

Finally, find a seat in your category and a select a delivery method (ignoring the $4.95 delivery fee which will be removed at the checkout) and then go to payment.

Tickets (General Public): Gate 1 will open at 12:00pm for the general public, located past the North Ballarat Sports Club Stand, opposite Creswick road. 

Transport: For supporters travelling from Melbourne, catching the V-Line train will be the best way to get to and from the game. 

Before the matches, trains from Southern Cross Station depart every hour:

The journey to Ballarat station is approximately 1 hour and 28 minutes. 

Following the conclusion of both games, trains will depart Ballarat station on the same hourly schedule.

The journey to Great Southern Station is approximately 1 hour and 29 minutes.

Members Merchandise Collection: Membership merchandise collections will be held inside gate one, beginning at 12:00 pm.

Make sure you bring your card and arrive early to beat the cues! 

Parking: Parking spaces will be available at C.E Brown Reserve and surrounding ovals, which can be accessed from Dowling Street. 

Accessible parking will be available at the North Ballarat Sports Club which can be accessed via Creswick Road.     

Weather:  At this stage, Saturday will be sunny with a top of nineteen degrees. 

Match Details: Rebels Women vs Brumbies at 12:15 pm. Rebels vs. Sharks at 2:45pm
